Amid External Threats and Economic Pressure, Which National Problem Do Concert Cancellations and Hijab Warnings Solve?
Emadeddin Baghi: What is interesting is that these are not concerts like those in Los Angeles, but concerts that have been licensed in compliance with accepted laws and norms...
Emaduddin Baghi, a sociologist and human rights researcher, wrote in Sazendagi newspaper: "When the enemy has an enemy, he talks about the destruction of Iran and takes his enmity back even to the Achaemenids 2,500 years ago, but the concern of a general, the lack of hijab, and the concern of a cleric, preventing a concert is allowed, as if the pain of destitution and Zardak's suggestion are our frequent problems."
They have told about the proverb "A woman dies from the pain of poverty, someone said you want Mrs. Zardek"; A poverty-stricken woman whose husband had died due to an illness and who was in charge of running the house and children because she was unable to work, the landlord evicted this woman and her children from the house for not paying the rent. The woman was sitting by her belongings in the alley and moaning, a peddler passing by said, "Ma'am, do you want a yolk?" Dehkhoda's proverbs and rulings called it zarak (Volume 4, p. 2062) and some have also brought it. This proverb is about the gap between the rich and the poor and the realities and bitterness of livelihood and expresses the Heprotian mentality of some politicians and managers. On Wednesday, September 11, 1405, Trump said: "Now that the strait is under American control, should we change the name of the Strait of Hormuz to TRUMP STRAIT?" Like America itself, it will be "hotter" than ever! Thank you for your attention to this issue. At another time, Trump claimed: "Iran's economy is completely collapsing. They are only delaying the inevitable. When are the people of Iran going to rise up and fight?" The US Treasury Secretary also stated: "Iran is faced with 3 options: either the IRGC will collapse internally, or the people will rise up against it, or Tehran will return to the negotiating table." Netanyahu also said: "We will topple the Iranian government system, this system will fall. All our institutions are trying to overthrow this system. "If they attack us, it will be their last attack."
And two days ago, US Secretary of State Rubio began his speech in Greece with Xerxes' attack on Athens in 480 BC and said that a group of Athenians stayed in the Acropolis and resisted the Iranian invaders, but in the end the Persians looted the temples, burned the shrines and razed the Acropolis to the ground. Of course, before him, the American president had spoken several times about his decision to destroy Iran's civilization, and Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu had spoken about the enmity of 2500 years ago on March 13, 2014. Although the rights of citizenship, the right to happiness, and the right to life are always immutable, whether in peace or war, in such a situation and time, it is clear what the priorities are, and every official at any level should be concerned with protecting the country. Against war and aggression and protection of citizens against inflation and extreme poverty that has intensified in war conditions.
But at the same time, news comes that some concerts have been canceled in different cities of the country. Massoud Sadeghlou's concerts in Rasht, Saman Jalili in Ahvaz, Haido Hedayati in Bandar Abbas, Irfan Tahmasabi in Tehran, Bardia Mehrara's concert in Tehran, Ehsan Abdipour's concert and Alireza Ghorbani's concert in Mashhad are among the performances that have been cancelled. It is interesting that these are not Los Angeles concerts, but concerts that have been licensed within the framework of compliance with accepted laws and norms, but what is related to the right to legitimate happiness and the right to life of the people is simply limited or destroyed. The news of Sardari's statement is also published, saying: "The situation of the hijab is very deplorable; We must do cultural work. Why don't ministries and banks do anything? The employees are even rude." Another general gives a speech in one of the squares and says: "The martyrs have said that we envy the people in the streets. The emergence of Imam Zaman has been delayed due to the presence of people in the street". If we ignore the strange saying that the martyrs are jealous of those who are on the street, and if we ignore the fact that the many traditions that determine the time of the emergence are liars, the speakers of these words belong to institutions whose professional duty is military activity and defense of the country, not going to the pulpit and giving religious speeches, and that too with this type and content! Although this activity may be seen as the responsibility of Jihad Tebayin camp, which has a budget of 3,600 billion tomans, first of all, Jihad Tebayen is a civic duty, not a governmental one, and secondly, in a situation where the rights of the armed forces do not meet their needs and the provision of food for the warriors on the battlefield is more vital and prior to it, these kinds of words are similar to offering to give zardak to those who prioritize the provision of more urgent needs. These kinds of positions and words cause great worries for the future. It arouses and the society thinks, those who are careless about the priorities and public rights in the situation of an existential war, if they pass these conditions and stabilize their position, what will be the situation? This is why these types of behaviors and positions have a counter-motivating role in public participation, both for today and in the event of an escalation of war. Think of the next generation, when they see this news, their eyes will be wide-eyed because in a previous period, such control methods existed for a society with such an ancient history of culture and civilization, but no!
Today, the same society is getting angry and angry because many times the majority of the voting booths have rejected this thinking and viewpoint and demanded more reasonable methods, but the decision-making tool and the exercise of power have been in the hands of the minority. It is as if concerts are held only in Iran. They do not look at the experience of dozens of other countries in the world, including many Islamic countries. Let's say that these concerts in Iran are more beautiful than anywhere in the world, but these ridiculous instructions are issued about it, which is much worse than the Zardaki that was offered to that poor man.
