Kolivand: Authorization to Recruit 6,000 Personnel for the Red Crescent Society Issued

The head of the Red Crescent Society announced the recruitment of new personnel for the organization.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Pirhossein Kolivand, on Tuesday, in the ceremony to honor the bravery of the Red Crescent rescuers in the Third Imposed War, he emphasized the role of human capital and the support of the authorities in strengthening this population and stated: The main assets of the Red Crescent are the rescuers, volunteers and people who have brought this group to its current position with their efforts and sacrifices.

Referring to the meeting with the martyred leader in the last meeting in 1404, he added: In that meeting, referring to the report on the activities of the Red Crescent Society, he expressed his satisfaction with the measures taken, and this shows the importance of the efforts of the rescuers and members of the society.

The head of the Red Crescent Society also pointed to the support of the president and Mohammad Reza Aref, the first vice president, and said: These supports and guidelines are valuable assets of the Red Crescent Society and play a role in strengthening its operational capacity.

Referring to the martyr leader's message about rescue training in the fields, Kolivand continued: The Red Crescent Society is now following this educational movement at the national level and is trying to expand rescue training.

Appreciating the efforts of the rescue workers to improve their working conditions, Kolivand said: "Today, with your efforts, the support of the government, the help of benefactors and the support of people who are with the people, we have been able to improve the conditions and provide more facilities." Of course, I am still not completely satisfied with the living conditions of rescue workers as I would like; But compared to the past and due to the efforts made, progress has been made that deserves appreciation.

Recalling the aid martyrs and their commemoration ceremony, he added: These martyrs were valuable assets of the Red Crescent; The young people who bravely appeared in the field despite all the dangers. Being in the heart of the accident, maintaining your spirit and standing in difficult situations is a manifestation of your faith and deep beliefs.

Referring to the narratives of the rescuers from their field experiences, the head of the Red Crescent Society said: You can convey human and religious values to other generations with your stories of sacrifice, empathy, and sacrifice.

Stating that rescuers overcome fear in critical moments, Kolivand said: In a situation where the attacks and rockets continued, some forces insisted on continuing the rescue operations and were not ready to leave the field. This spirit of responsibility and being with the people deserves to be appreciated.

Referring to the management composition of the Red Crescent Society, he continued: "In my opinion, today the best management team is present in the Red Crescent Society, from the Supreme Council and the Assembly to the deputies, heads of organizations and general managers; A group whose members, from the field of action to the management levels, have a spirit of jihad, take responsibility, serve without expectations and with empathy, turn individual power into organizational power.

The head of Red Crescent Society emphasized: I am also a member of this group; But when we stand together, the Red Crescent crowd forms and shines. The strength and credibility of this collection originates from its human and social capital, that is, you rescuers and volunteers.

Referring to the trustworthiness of one of the rescuers in the debris removal operation, Koulivand said: "At one of the accident sites, I saw from the top of the rubble that a young rescuer collected some gold from the rubble." After coming down, he handed over the found property to the police by drawing up the meeting minutes and getting signatures from the people present. A few days later, when I learned of his identification, I thanked him; Because he could have taken that property for himself, but with a sense of responsibility, he trusted and protected people's property.

He considered this behavior as a sign of the faith and moral commitment of the rescuers and added: Such actions show that the rescuers adhere to moral values in addition to sacrifice in the field and consider God as the watcher of their actions.

Referring to the message of First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, Kolivand said about the role of aid workers in difficult days: You were not the only aid workers in the most difficult days, but you were the support of the people and the bearer of hope. One of the lessons I have learned from the martyr leader's instructions is to express hopeful points and avoid promoting despair and hopelessness. During the time that I have been in your service, despite the difficulties, I have tried to keep hope in the group and not use the shortcomings as an excuse to stop serving.

Referring to the limitations of the 12-day war period, the head of the Red Crescent stated: At that time, some of our warehouses were facing a serious lack of equipment. However, with the efforts of our colleagues and providing the necessary resources, we completed the facilities. During a visit to one of the bases, I also saw the difficult conditions of the troops who worked for long hours in high altitude and difficult areas and were faced with limited equipment to carry out the mission.

Appreciating the efforts of the rescue workers to improve their working conditions, he said: "Today, with your efforts, the support of the government, the help of benefactors and the support of people who are with the people, we have been able to improve the conditions and provide more facilities." Of course, I am still not completely satisfied with the living conditions of rescue workers as I would like; But compared to the past and due to the efforts made, progress has been made that deserves appreciation.

He also told reporters: With the government's approval, the recruitment of 6,000 soldiers was announced to the Red Crescent Society and it went to the Employment Affairs Organization. Hopefully, the other conditions for their registration and exams are being finalized and announced, and I think this will happen before the end of the year. This is also what happened to the population for the first time after the revolution. We have 6 million volunteer aid workers, which means almost a third of the volunteers in the world, and this is our competitive advantage with the world.
