This propagandistic proposition from the reformists is clearly an obvious confusion and distortion. First of all, before July 16, that is, from June 28, 1405, when the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding was signed, the United States and its regional mercenary, the Zionist regime, clearly violated clause one of the aforementioned memorandum. In this clause, it was stated that America should end the war throughout the geography of the resistance, including Lebanon, but from the very day of signing the memorandum, the Zionist war machine became more active and deadly in southern Lebanon.

Secondly, the United States itself was violating paragraph five of the Islamabad Memorandum; In this paragraph, it was stated that the Strait of Hormuz will be opened after a certain period of time with Iranian arrangements; But the Americans clearly violated this clause and on July 16, they planned to escort three oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian Navy also fired several warning shots in response to this action; Then, the Americans opened fire on our soldiers and caused the martyrdom of several soldiers of the Islamic Iranian Navy. In response, our fighters also targeted the offending oil tankers and their American escort. This was the whole story that for a few days now, the obviously political elements, mostly related to the reformist spectrum, have been distorting and inverting it, so to speak, replacing the executioner and the martyr.

Undoubtedly, the fact that certain political movements, by inverting the field and headquarters calendar, are trying to become victims of the hostile actions of the American and Zionist axis and purify the main cause of the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz, is nothing but the continuation of the fifth column project in the front line of psychological warfare. The fact that the sworn enemies of the regime and their domestic businessmen are fed up with the deadly effects of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz today is the best proof of the effectiveness of the balancing doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
