MASHHAD – The mayor of Mashhad stressed the need to address the livelihood, welfare, and legal status of firefighters who lose their lives in the line of duty while serving the public.

Mashhad- The mayor of Mashhad emphasized the need to pay attention to the livelihood, well-being and legal status of firefighters who lose their lives while serving the people.

According to Mehr reporter, Mohammad Reza Qalandar Sharif on Thursday morning at the opening ceremony of the fire station, emphasizing the high position of firefighters in protecting the life and property of citizens, developing safety infrastructure, increasing the number of stations, strengthening manpower and improving operational facilities are among the important axes of urban management.

The mayor of Mashhad said: Firefighters are among the self-sacrificing forces that go into the heart of an accident to save people's lives and property when others stay away from danger. That too without necessarily having any family relationship with the victims.

While appreciating the efforts of the fire department and safety services of Mashhad municipality, he emphasized the need to pay attention to the livelihood, well-being and legal status of firefighters who lose their lives while serving the people.
