According to the reporter, Ali Rabiei on Wednesday evening at the night of creative industries, which was held in the presence of handicraft artists of Isfahan province at the world base of Chehelston Palace Museum, pointed to the historical role of innovation in the continuity of Iran's life and stated: Iran has faced many security issues and challenges throughout history, and what has made it possible for the country to continue life and reach its current position has been the ability of Iranians to innovate and adapt to changing conditions.
He stated that without innovation, it would not be possible to continue social life, and added: Innovation is not a distant phenomenon and exclusive to advanced technologies, but in many cases it is formed from surrounding phenomena and by creating new connections and arrangements between existing capacities.
Emphasizing the necessity of redefining the concept of innovation in policy making and social activities, the Social Assistant of the President stated: Usually, innovation is more about technical and engineering issues, while an important part of society's issues today, from the water and environment crisis to energy challenges, require social and cultural innovations.
Referring to the complexity of innovation in social and cultural fields, Rabiei noted: innovation in these areas is more difficult and complex, and solving society's problems cannot be limited to technical solutions.
He also pointed to the social experiences formed in war conditions and said: In such situations, different forms of cooperation and social adaptation emerge; From the return of children to their father's house to sheltering people in other families. These behaviors are examples of creativity in the way of living and facing society with difficult conditions.
Referring to his personal experience of working and living in difficult conditions, the social assistant of the president emphasized the importance of a historical view of Iran's development path and said that the continuation of the social life of Iranians in different periods was not possible without relying on innovation and the ability to create new solutions.
Rabiei's remarks at the night of creative industries focused on the necessity of overcoming the limited technological perception of innovation and paying attention to cultural and social capacities to face the country's issues; An approach that can transcend the status of creative industries from a mere artistic and production activity and highlight its relationship with solving social issues and sustainable development.
