Thousands From Yemen's 'Taiz' Tribes Take to the Streets to Expel Saudi Mercenaries + Photos
Thousands from tribes in the districts of 'Mawiyah' and 'Sabr al-Mawadim' held a rally, vowing to stand alongside the Yemeni army and drive Saudi-affiliated mercenaries out of the country.
Thousands of tribesmen of "Mawiyeh" and "Sabr al-Madawam" cities held a meeting and emphasized that they will expel mercenaries affiliated with Saudi Arabia from this country along with the Yemeni army.
The tribes of "Mawieh" and "Sabr al-Mawam" sections in "Taez" province, in an armed gathering, announced general mobilization and alertness to confront the aggressor elements. The motto of this ceremony was "Mobilize and be ready...intensification of tension against the escalation of tension" and it was held with the presence of local, military, security officials, as well as the elders and sheikhs of the nomads of these areas. Emphasizing their high readiness to respond to the escalation of tensions between the Saudi enemy and the defense of Yemen's sovereignty, the participants said that this mobilization will take place at the tribal level, in line with the support of the oppressed Yemeni nation and resolute opposition to the 12-year-long aggression and siege of Yemen. These nomads, while emphasizing their full readiness to support the war fronts with manpower, weapons and equipment until the complete expulsion of the Saudi mercenaries, said that the crimes of the Saudis will not change the positions of the Yemeni nation.
Currently, the Yemeni army has taken control of Jebel Han, which has a strategic position and overlooks the western gate of Taiz city, and the conflicts have extended to the old airport area inside the city. According to field sources, Sana'a forces attacked the heights of Jebel Han with heavy fire and advancing from several directions, which led to the surrender of Saudi Arabian mercenaries. Official Yemeni sources have not yet confirmed the entry of the country's army into Taiz. The advance of the Yemeni army against the Saudi mercenaries has been carried out in a situation where the attacks of the Saudi coalition on Yemeni cities and the retaliatory responses of the Yemeni army continue. Some Yemeni sources reported that severe clashes are currently taking place in the area of the old airport located in the western part of Taiz city between Sana'a forces and Saudi mercenaries.
Farad, who was present at the meeting, pointed out that the issue of Palestine is at the top of the attention of the Yemeni people, and said that they will not allow the period of dependence and submission to strangers to be repeated in Yemen.
These Yemeni tribes declared their support for the Yemeni army and said that they are following the instructions of the leader of this country, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, to stabilize the equation of "siege against siege and escalation of tension against escalation of tension" until the siege is broken, the war ends and the looted national resources are recovered.
The tribes of Taiz once again invited those who were deceived by Saudi Arabia and are among their mercenaries to use the general amnesty and return to the right path and end the bloodshed of their countrymen.
