According to Ambassador Arjan Sardar Hossein Mohebi, in an exclusive interview with Tehran Times newspaper, he did not rule out the possibility of a new war against Iran and said: Although the start of such a war by the United States is illogical, this possibility still exists. Because according to him, the Trump administration needs an achievement before the mid-term elections.

Mohebi added: Iran is ready to respond to any renewed aggression with more force than before, and the consequences of such an action will be "more painful" for the United States.

The IRGC spokesman also criticized the media coverage of America's foreign wars and said that, in his opinion, the public opinion of this country is not aware of the reality of these wars and the mainstream media hides the reality of what he called "brutal aggression".

He considered the statements of the American officials about the existence of differences and lack of cooperation between the leaders of Iran to be "completely false" and said that these claims are made with the aim of justifying Washington's failures in the war.
