Conte Ecstatic About Lamasia

Former Napoli coach admits that Lamasia's great work in introducing top talents has thrilled him.

According to Ambassador Arjan, Antonio Conte, the Italian head coach, praised the performance of the Barcelona club in developing young talents and admitted that he was impressed by the way this Catalan club works in using its academy players.

Conte, who has a history of leading Napoli, Inter, Chelsea and the Italian national team, talked about the structure of training young talents in Barcelona in a detailed interview with "Athletic" website. He also expressed his desire to visit the famous La Masia academy to get to know the way the club's grassroots teams work.

La Masia is one of the most important assets of Barcelona. An academy that has played an important role in providing the players needed by the main team and reducing dependence on expensive purchases in recent years and under the conditions of the club's financial problems.

Barcelona's treasure is the result of behind-the-scenes efforts

In a part of this interview, Conte said about Barcelona's performance: "They are doing a great job."

Referring to the presence of La Masia young players in Barcelona's main team, the Italian head coach said: When you see these La Masia youths, at the age of 18, easily adapt to a team like Barcelona, play in front of 100,000 spectators and provide football with such ease, you realize what a huge amount of hard work is done behind the scenes of the youth department.

He also emphasized the coordination between the academy and the technical staff of the main team and added that these departments work in perfect harmony in Barcelona.

Conte, who has won five Italian league titles and one English Premier League title, concluded: "I am very interested in visiting their first team section." Barcelona has a clear and defined structure that is perfectly aligned with the main team.

Conte's praise once again highlights La Masia's importance in Barcelona's sporting structure. An academy that, in addition to cultivating future talents, helps the club maintain the quality of its main team in the face of financial constraints.
