33 thousand people registered in the 8th Baran Wahi Quranic Festival in Gilan

Rasht- The cultural deputy of the Gilan Relief Committee announced the registration of 33 thousand people in the 8th Baran Wahi Quranic Festival and said: This festival is held with the aim of identifying and nurturing Quranic talents in 29 disciplines.

According to Mehr reporter, Vahid Bafekri, in a conversation with the media on Saturday morning, referring to the objectives of the Baran Wahi Quranic Festival, said: Empowering the beneficiaries through training and improving Quranic skills, identifying and cultivating Quranic and cultural elites, and strengthening the position of the aid committee in the field of developing the Quranic talents of the people being supported, are among the most important policies of this festival.

Stating that the 8th Baran Wahi Qur'anic Festival will be held in two groups of brothers and sisters and in 6 age groups, he added: Participants compete in three main sections: ritual and phonetic, written, educational and artistic.

Referring to the diversity of the fields of the Gilan Relief Committee, the vice-president of cultural affairs of the Gilan Relief Committee said: reading and memorizing the Holy Quran, reciting prayers, adhan, correct recitation of prayers, praise, the concepts of the Holy Quran, Safiha Sajjadiyeh, Nahj al-Balagha, familiarity with Sharia rules, storytelling, poetry and heart writing, narration, narration, photography, podcast, video, short film, painting and calligraphy are among the fields of this Quranic event.

Bafkri continued: The participants sent their works in the form of videos and photos through the designated system, and after evaluating the works, the competition followed in different stages of the festival.

Referring to the in-person phase of memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran, he said: This phase was held in the presence of Masoud Wadipour, head of the Department of Promotion and Promotion of the Quran and Attar Center of the Ministry of Health and one of the supervisors of the festival, at the Maawa Cultural Creations Center.

The deputy of cultural affairs of Gilan Relief Committee added: At the end of this stage, the selected people were introduced to participate in the national stage after the competition of the participants and the evaluation of the judges.

Referring to last year's success of Gilani participants in this festival, Bafekri stated: Gilan province won the top 20 national ranks in various fields in the last edition of Baran Wahi Quranic Festival.
