Iran's international referee will be removed!
It is said that Morteza Mansourian, the international referee of Iranian football, is on the verge of being removed from the list of international referees in 2027.
According to Sports 3, while the Iranian Football Federation is finalizing the proposed names for the list of international referees in 2027, the news that Morteza Mansoorian's name did not reach the list submitted by the federation has been noticed. According to the published information, this referee was not introduced to be in the new list and it is said that another referee will replace him.
Mansourian, who has been on the list of FIFA international referees since 2023, is one of the representatives of Khorasan Razavi refereeing at the international level. He started his refereeing activity in 2006 and after refereeing in the Premier Football League of Iran and participating in refereeing development courses in Asia, he joined the group of international referees. Participating in the Asian competitions of the basic categories and CAFFA competitions is also considered part of his international records.
In the meantime, Mohsen Ghahrami, the veteran referee of Iranian football, has also raised the issue of Mansourian's possible departure from the list of international referees by publishing this news on his personal page. The reflection of this news has once again drawn attention to possible changes in the list of international referees in Iran.
Considering that the final list of international referees for 2027 has not yet been officially announced, we have to wait and see if Morteza Mansoorian's name will be included in the new list or if this referee's presence among international referees will end after four years.
