Development of Energy Production and Supply with the Inauguration of 4 Industrial Projects in East Azerbaijan
Tabriz – Four industrial and energy projects with an investment of 737 billion tomans in East Azerbaijan were commissioned, aimed at increasing production capacity, supplying part of the required energy, and creating jobs.
According to Mehr reporter, at the same time as the 22nd provincial visit of the government to East Azerbaijan, four industrial and energy projects in one of the industrial companies of the province were put into operation on Wednesday morning with the virtual presence of Mohammad Jaafar Qaim Panah, the executive vice president, through video conference.
These projects include a 10 MW solar power plant, powder and liquid paint lines, a lost foam casting line, and an industrial parts machining line, which have been implemented with a total investment of 737 billion Tomans and 9.3 million euros. Exploiting these projects, in addition to increasing production capacity, plays a role in reducing energy consumption, improving product quality, reducing production costs, and creating job opportunities.
10 MW solar power plant for energy supply
The 10 megawatt solar power plant was built with an investment of 450 billion tomans and 2.1 million euros and created employment for five people.
This power plant with an annual production capacity of 19,000 megawatt-hours of electricity is able to provide the equivalent of about 10% of the energy needs of the relevant industrial group. The use of this plan, while helping to reduce the energy imbalance, can reduce the stoppage of production lines during periods of electricity restrictions and increase the sustainability of industrial activities.
Increasing productivity by launching powder and liquid paint lines
Powder and liquid paint lines have been launched with an investment of 84 billion Tomans and 1.8 million euros. The implementation of this project will provide employment for 60 people and has the capacity to supply the paint needed for the parts of 50 thousand tractors per year.
According to the information provided, the use of new technologies in these lines reduces paint consumption by 40% and increases productivity by 60%. Also, by recovering 98% of unused colors, the amount of waste is reduced and it is possible to use raw materials more optimally.
Improving the quality of painting parts, improving the health conditions of employees and reducing the environmental effects of the production process are other expected results for this project.
Development of parts production with missing foam casting line
The lost foam casting line has been put into operation with an investment of 195 billion Tomans and one million and 500 thousand euros. This project creates employment for 21 people and has the capacity to produce eight thousand tons of cast parts annually.
Missing foam technology enables the production of parts with more complex shapes and can lower the finished cost of products by reducing some production steps. Reducing energy consumption and pollution levels, increasing production capacity and providing the basis for export development are other expected benefits of this production line.
Annual machining of 18 thousand industrial parts
A new machining line for central shell and gearbox parts has also been launched with an investment of eight billion tomans and 3.9 million euros. This project creates employment for 22 people and has the annual production capacity of 18 thousand pieces.
By using this line, it is possible to increase the production capacity of the required parts and improve the quality of the products. Also, with the development of domestic production and the reduction of dependence on the import of these parts, annual foreign exchange savings of eight million euros have been predicted.
Increasing self-sufficiency in supplying parts, reducing production costs and creating job opportunities are other goals of this project.
The total of these four plans, focusing on providing part of the energy needed by the industrial unit, improving the technology of production lines and increasing the capacity of manufacturing parts, is considered a part of the production infrastructure development program in East Azerbaijan.
