Call for Entries Announced for First Nationwide Theater Festival 'Dara Rokh'
The first nationwide theater festival 'Dara Rokh' has published its call for entries.
According to Aria's heritage report, citing public relations, the "Dara Rokh" national theater festival will hold its first period in January 1405 with the aim of identifying and supporting young and talented artists, introducing groups, directors, performers and agents involved in the production of a theatrical work, as well as supporting the public performance of significant works from the point of view of the jury.
This festival emphasizes the performance of works characterized by the presence of one or two actors on stage, and in three comedy sections, one-person performances (monologue), two-person performances (dialogue) and a special section (guest secretary) will welcome the works of artists from all over the country.
According to the published call, the subject of the "Monologue" section is chosen by the applicant artist, and there is no distinction between works based on Iranian and non-Iranian texts, except for the dramatic aspects of the work. What is worth mentioning is that according to the festival's perspective, works based on Iranian texts that focus on social conditions will be prioritized in the selection of artistic quality.
Also, the topic of the "Dialogue" section is also chosen by the applicant artist, and in this section, only works based on Iranian texts will be selected, and shows in the social comedy genre focused on the theme of war will be selected in priority.
Based on this, artists can send their works to the secretariat of the first national theater festival "Dara Rukh" from October 24 to November 10, 1405.
The first "Dara Rokh" theater festival will be held under the auspices of the "Dara Rokh" cultural and artistic educational institute and the participation of the Noufel Loshato Mansion.
