Screening of 'Gambler' in Tajikistan

The feature film 'Gambler,' directed by Mohsen Bahari, will be screened in Tajikistan on Iranian Cinema Day.

The movie "The Gambler" directed by Mohsen Behari will be screened on "Iranian Cinema Day" in Tajikistan.

According to Ambassador Arjan, citing the public relations of the Farabi Cinema Foundation, at the same time as the third edition of Taj Saman National Film Festival is held in Tajikistan, the movie "The Gambler" produced by the Farabi Cinema Foundation, directed by Mohsen Behari and produced by Sajjad Nasrollahi Nasab, will be present at the "Iranian Cinema Day" of this event.

In each period of the "Taj Saman" national film festival, the screening of works from one or more countries is considered, and in this period, "Iranian Cinema Day" is held in order to expand the cultural and artistic interactions between the two countries.

The international distribution of the movie "The Gambler" is under the responsibility of the International Deputy of the Farabi Film Foundation, and Shabnam Ghorbani won the Special Jury Award at the International Festival "Across the Lake" in North Macedonia and at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Film Festival in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

In the second period of the "Taj Saman" national film festival last year, the film "Shahesawar" directed by Hossein Namazi was screened in the competition section of the festival.

Iranian Cinema Day will be held at the "Taj Saman" festival from 23 to 28 Mehr 1405 (15 to 20 October 2026) in the city of Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
