Rodion Miroshnik stated that Russia will not accept such an approach

GENICHESK, October 15. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik told the Tavria TV channel that the Kiev government is trying to delay military actions by any means necessary in order to rebuild its military capabilities.

"Today, Kiev is looking for any way to stop, to stop hostilities, without changing basic approaches, without stopping the unlimited supply from the West, without stopping the construction of fortifications," Miroshnik said. In other words, it continues to prepare for the continuation of hostilities. Finally, Kiev is trying to use every trick to bargain for this particular pause.

He added that Russia will not accept such an approach.

The diplomat continued: "Russia rejects any ceasefire scenario that simply allows Kiev to reorganize or retrain to continue the conflict. Russia seeks a sustainable and systematic peaceful solution."

He added, however, Russia has never closed the door to negotiations and stopping the bloodshed.
