Various book week programs are held in Abpakhsh

Bushehr- Abpakhsh district head said: Planning for the special programs of book week, book reading and librarian was done at the meeting of the public library association of this department.

According to the reporter of Mehr, the meeting of Abpakhsh Public Libraries Association with the presence of the prefect and the president of the association; Hojjat-ul-Islam Khodadad Rezaei, Imam of Juma Abpakhsh; Mojtabi Abbasi, head of public libraries of Dashtestan city; Mohammad Jamei, the mayor of Abpakhsh; Tayyaba Zare, the official of Abpakhsh public library and the secretary of the association and other members, was held in the public library of this city.

Emphasis on promoting study culture and participation of executive bodies

In this meeting, on Friday morning, the governor and head of the public library association of Abpakhsh district emphasized the importance of promoting the reading culture and the role of public libraries in promoting the awareness and knowledge of the society.

Referring to the necessity of the participation of executive and cultural bodies in Book Week programs, Mohammad Parsa called for the cooperation and synergy of the members of the association to implement diverse and effective programs with the aim of expanding the culture of reading.

The activity of Abpakhsh public library with 26 thousand books and 720 members

In the continuation of this meeting, Tayyaba Zare, the secretary of the association and the official of Abpakhsh public library, presented a report on the activities and actions of this library.

Referring to the capacities of the Abpakhsh public library, he said: this library, having about 26,000 books and 720 members, works in the direction of promoting the culture of reading and reading.

Zare added: holding educational classes and workshops, reading meetings, reading gatherings, storytelling, reading competitions and establishing a book hangout are among the cultural and educational programs of Abpakhsh Public Library.

The official of Abpakhsh Public Library also explained the planned programs and suggestions for the book and reading week and emphasized on the implementation of various programs with the aim of attracting more audiences and strengthening the culture of reading.

Special review of book, reading and librarian week programs

In another part of this meeting, the members of Abpakhsh Public Libraries Association discussed the planning, coordination and implementation of the special programs of book week, book reading and librarian and presented their suggestions for organizing these programs as best as possible.

At the end of this meeting, the three winners of the book reading competition, which was held on the occasion of government week and especially for office workers, were honored.

Ismail Sheikhi from Education, Hafez Omidi from Health Network and Akbar Gerginpour from Islamic Propaganda Coordination Council were the three winners of this competition who were honored.
