Yarahmadi: Meager International Support Does Not Cover Iran's Billion-Dollar Costs of Hosting Refugees

Adviser to the Minister of Interior and Head of the Center for Affairs of Foreign Nationals and Migrants at the Interior Ministry, speaking at the 77th session of the Executive Committee of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva on Tuesday, 21 Mehr 1405, criticized the inadequacy of international support. He stressed that reduced financial resources should not lead to shifting responsibilities onto host countries instead of their fair distribution.

The adviser to the Minister of Interior and the head of the Foreign Nationals and Immigrants Affairs Center of the Ministry of Interior, on Tuesday 21 October 1405, at the 77th meeting of the Executive Committee of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva, criticized the inadequacy of international support and emphasized that the reduction of financial resources should not lead to the transfer of the burden of responsibilities to the host countries, instead of its fair distribution.
