Five Crypto Platforms Lose Access to Banking Services

As of today, five cryptocurrency platforms are no longer permitted to use banking services to deposit and withdraw funds.

According to Ambassador Arjan, from 16:00 today, Monday, October 20, access to 5 cryptocurrency exchange platforms will be limited to banking services and offline withdrawals, and users of these platforms will not be able to deposit and withdraw money.

Fars wrote in a news: The decision for this action was taken in a committee at the National Center of Cyberspace and the Central Bank has sent a letter to the banks, announcing its implementation. Before this, the news of the disruption of several cryptocurrency exchanges in the currency market and the decision of the Central Bank to unilaterally block the bank accounts of these exchanges was published.

However, the cryptocurrency exchange Nobitex has said that this restriction is applied due to the insistence of these exchanges on protecting the privacy of users and refraining from providing their information.

This limit will be three days, however, there is a possibility of its extension.
