Zafarkandi: Women's health is a prerequisite for the dynamics of society
Emphasizing the need to pay attention to women's health at all stages of life, the Minister of Health considered women's health to be a shared responsibility and a prerequisite for the dynamics of society and a healthier future.
According to Ambassador Arjan, quoted by Webda, in the message of Mohammad Reza Zafarqandi, on the occasion of Iran's National Women's Health Week (October 24-30, 1405) with the slogan "Women's health, today's choice, tomorrow's capital", it is stated: Women's health is one of the important priorities of the health system and is a strategic investment for the health of the family, the dynamics of society and the future of generations.
Women's health is a shared social responsibility beyond the health system, and its realization requires the synergy of executive bodies, the participation of families, and the responsibility of workplaces.
A society that plans for the health of its women, in fact, has invested in a healthier, more capable and hopeful tomorrow.
Iran's National Women's Health Week (October 24-30) is an opportunity to highlight the place of women's health in national policies and programs and emphasize the fact that health is a prerequisite for women's effective participation in various fields of personal, family and social life.
Today, more than ever, we need a comprehensive look at women's health; A view that goes beyond the prevention and early diagnosis of diseases and takes into consideration the physical, mental and social health of women in all stages of life, from youth and reproductive years to middle age and old age.
In this week, universities and faculties of medical sciences, health and treatment networks, organizations and cooperating institutions are expected to provide the basis for turning awareness into action by implementing targeted educational and information programs, facilitating women's access to preventive care and identifying obstacles to enjoying health services.
I also invite all women, according to their health needs, to take seriously the recommended care according to their age and individual conditions, and to take measures for the prevention and early diagnosis of diseases, and to prioritize their physical and mental health.
While honoring Iran's National Women's Health Week, I would like to thank and appreciate the efforts of all the health system activists and the cooperation of the responsible institutions and organizations in this direction.
