Inspired by the heritage of the 70s, the Alpine A310 Vision, the latest impressive concept from the French automaker, promises a bright future for sports car design.

Alpine has paid tribute to the rich history of its brand by unveiling the A310 Vision concept. The concept car smartly updates key design elements of the original A310 model and may be a preview of the company's future electric car production model.

The Alpine A310 Vision is a two-door coupe that celebrates the 55th anniversary of the original A310 model, which was produced between 1971 and 1984. This show car incorporates the key design elements of the original model in a modern way.

The design of the front of the car includes narrow LED headlights, a large splitter, a prominent bumper and a distinctive hood. Prominent front wheel arches, silver and black rims, digital side mirrors and angled side windows are the features of the side view. At the rear, instead of the large window of the original model, a giant aluminum housing, a large lip spoiler and LED taillights complete the retro-modern design.

The A310 Vision concept is built on the Alpine Performance Platform (APP), which underlies the A110 all-electric model. Alpine has introduced this concept as a "creative exploration of Alpine's heritage" and not "a presentation of a future production model".

However, Alpine announced in mid-2023 a plan to deliver a four-seater A310 by 2030 based on the A110 architecture. Spy images from early 2025 also showed a sports car with similar dimensions to this concept, which will be a competitor to the Porsche 911.

The final model of the A310 is going to be launched as a fastback GT with a 2+2 configuration and an open version. It is not yet clear how much the design of the A310 Vision concept will influence the production model, but many hope that it will be very similar to this concept.
