Benyamin Faraji and Hadis Yari became the flag bearers of Iran in the Dakar Youth Olympics.

Ambassador Arjan: By the decision of the National Olympic Committee, Benyamin Faraji, the table tennis champion, and Hadith Yari, the women's futsal national team player, were chosen as the flag bearers of the Iranian convoy in the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, and cash rewards have also been considered for the medal winners of this event.

Also, the amount of the reward for the medalists of these games was determined, and based on this, the reward for the gold medal will be 1 billion, the silver medal will be 400 million, and the bronze medal will be 150 million.

The Youth Olympic Games will start in Dakar on November 8, and the Iranian caravan will participate in these competitions with 29 quotas.

Iranian athletes are currently in camp and intensive programs have been planned for their preparation since Tuesday. Also, the ceremony of seeing off the Iranian convoy will be held tonight.
