Imam Juma Najaf's frank criticism of the cruel decision to ban hijab in the Republic of Azerbaijan
Friday imam of Najaf Ashraf strongly criticized the cruel decision to ban hijab in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to Ambassador Arjan, the action of Elham Alif's government in banning the hijab in the schools of the Republic of Azerbaijan - a country where the majority are Muslim and Shia - followed the strong criticism of Imam Juma of Najaf Ashraf in Iraq.
According to Arjan's ambassador, Seyed Sadr al-Din al-Qbanji, Imam of Najaf Ashraf, in today's Friday prayer sermons, referring to the Iraqi parliament's vote of confidence in the remaining ministries, criticized the creation of three new ministries in addition to the posts of the deputy prime minister, saying "while Iraq is suffering from the financial crisis".
He added: The religious authorities have repeatedly emphasized the necessity of not wasting the treasury, and the creation of these ministries and the positions of deputy prime ministers is an additional burden on the shoulders of the government and the country.
Al-Qabbanji stated that the creation of these new ministries or the addition of deputy prime minister posts has no real justification.
Imam Juma Najaf Ashraf also criticized the position of the Al-Zaidi government in condemning the retaliatory attacks of the Yemeni armed forces on Saudi airports and said: We are never satisfied with the Islamic-Islamic conflict every few months, but we (referring to the Al-Zaidi government) must condemn the continuous Saudi attacks on Yemen and the coalition that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wants to form with Israel, Pakistan and Turkey under the command of the United States to suppress the Yemenis.
He added: "They (the Saudis and their allies and mercenaries) started bombing the Houthis (Yemen's armed forces) and spoke of their will to destroy them. We are surprised by their silence against the aggression against the Houthis, while we are quickly witnessing the condemnation of the attack on Riyadh and Dammam airports."
Al-Qbanji criticized the silence against the aggression and occupation of the Zionist regime and said: Yesterday, Netanyahu clearly stated that he will never withdraw from the lands he recently occupied in Syria and Lebanon, and this is while we are witnessing the Arab silence and the lack of condemnation of this approach.
Imam Juma Najaf Ashraf further pointed to the developments in the Republic of Azerbaijan in the shadow of its government's hostile actions against the Muslim people, especially the prohibition of students wearing hijabs in schools and said: The ban on the hijab of students and female teachers in the schools of the Republic of Azerbaijan, while Muslims make up 95% of the population of this country, and the government of this country took this decision (banning the hijab) and implemented it by expelling hundreds of thousands of students and female teachers from schools, where are the rights of women? Where is personal freedom? Where is the democracy they claim? Has it become a false slogan against religion? Where are the international human rights organizations? (Why are they silent?)
He added: "While we condemn this position of the Azerbaijani government (in banning the hijab), we ask the Iraqi government to condemn this position and express solidarity with the people and families of the Republic of Azerbaijan, because the issue is not a local or ethnic issue, but it is considered a violation of our Islamic values, and anyone who does not pay attention to the affairs of Muslims is not a Muslim."
