“Color in Hafez’s Poems”: Revisiting the Mystical and Artistic Layers in the Shiraz Poet’s Ghazals + Video

The research program “Color in Hafez’s Poems,” held in Garmsar in Semnan province to commemorate the renowned Iranian poet, brought together the provincial Director-General of Culture and Islamic Guidance, literature enthusiasts and a traditional music ensemble. Focusing on the role of colors in Hafez’s Divan, the event highlighted the links between literature, mysticism and music.

The research program "Color in Hafez's Poems" was held at the same time as the commemoration of this famous Iranian poet, with the presence of the General Director of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Semnan Province, a group of literature enthusiasts and the performance of a traditional music group in Garmsar. The event, focusing on the function of colors in Hafez's court, introduced the link between literature, mysticism and music to the audience.
