The BMW Concept 7 Protection is a luxury, bulletproof sedan that offers a new experience of security and comfort by focusing on subtle protection against everyday street threats.

By introducing the 7 Protection concept, BMW has taken a new look at luxury security cars. This concept creates a bridge between the protected vehicles with a high degree of security and the regular sedans of the 7 Series. The main goal is to provide a bulletproof vehicle with serious protection capabilities but with a completely normal appearance for executives and private buyers who face common urban hazards.

Hidden power and protection in the new BMW 7 Series

The BMW Concept 7 Protection is based on the M760e xDrive model with a plug-in hybrid engine that produces 603 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque to have the same performance as the non-armored versions.

Thicker bulletproof glass and ballistic steel are subtly integrated into the doors and other body parts with fiber composites. This design maintains the luxurious appearance of the sedan and keeps the security features completely hidden. An intercom system is also installed to communicate passengers with the outside, without the need to open the window.

With this car, BMW has targeted situational and everyday risks such as theft or road conflicts and expands its Protection product portfolio for private and corporate buyers who are looking for high security without the bulky appearance of diplomatic cars.
