Huisen in the starting XI, Real Madrid's rest: Mourinho's favorite defender returns

Dean Huijsen is expected to start for Real Madrid against Roma.

According to "Varesh Se", Real Madrid is training in Valdebas to prepare for the trip to Rome and holding the second game of the group stage of the European Champions League. Mourinho used all his 22 players in this training, except for Thibaut Courtois and Andriy Lunin. Eder Militao and Ferlan Mendy, who have returned to group training, were also present in the training but are unlikely to be available for this European game.

The coach, who has reverted to his old habit of training in Madrid and holding mandatory news conferences only at the opponent's ground, did not use young players in this training session. Compared to the previous game, Mourinho brought back Huysen, who missed the match against Villarreal due to a red card suspension in the derby.

Mourinho now has to decide which of Antonio Rudiger, Huysen and Ibrahima Konate to choose as a centre-back. The former Bournemouth defender is a key figure in Mourinho's plans, although the fact that Real Madrid are still short of players in defence, particularly at centre-back, cannot be overlooked. Currently, only two players, Militão and Raul Asensio, are in the club's medical department.
