Sportscaster Dan takes down Elle Duncan after she claimed WNBA coverage has become "toxic as hell" and declared it's "open season" on dunking for black women.

A Philly gay sports bar is closing its doors after members of the LGBTQIA+ community accused it of egregious behavior including transphobia, misogyny and a slew of microaggressions.

With Game 1 of the WNBA Finals set for Saturday afternoon, instead of celebrating all things weird, South Marsha Street will be holding its own funeral. After facing serious accusations that the bar was not gay, black gay bar owner Chevon Anderson tried to save his life, but ended up having no choice but to leave it in the holy grail of gay sports bars.

"It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to close Marsha's doors for good," Anderson wrote on the bar's Instagram page Thursday. "We've loved serving this community and still believe this city needs women-owned/queer/bipok businesses more than ever."

He added: "To all our lovely regulars and supporters - we will miss you! Please come and say goodbye this weekend. We will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the last time before closing."

How could a Philly gay sports bar not be gay enough? It all started in April, when black trans manager and bartender Olivia Rhodes claimed the place was gay hell. "Marsha may claim to be a queer safe space, but it's nothing like that," Rhodes said on Instagram.

Word gets around quickly. Fair or not, Marsha was in trouble. Rhodes also claimed that the bar's general manager, Rylan, said that non-binary queers were "too emotional, too sensitive" and that the place needed to hire more men because the bar could use "more testosterone."

You get the point. The workers wanted this place to be much more beautiful. More trance

"Marsha has a long history of misogyny and racism that is inconsistent with the queer identity she claims and represents," Rhodes said.

Another former worker, who is bisexual and bisexual, claimed she was also mistreated. Claims were also made on Reddit by an employee who said the chef misgendered workers. One Reddit user added, "Marsha's isn't actively and openly a queer space, at best it's a space for white cis lesbians who can look past the 3-4 minorities that walk in every night, and at worst it's just a straight sports bar that half-heartedly markets itself as the ambiguous lesbians next door."

Anderson did his best to weather the storm. She even took a knee in an Instagram post in September that was clearly an all-court shot to save her business as the WNBA playoffs were firing on all cylinders.

"We have trained staff about biased language and microaggressions," the bar owner wrote. We operate a zero tolerance policy against hate and bigotry. We have worked and will continue to work with amazing restorative justice practitioners in our community who have held us accountable. We have done the work and we want to continue to grow."

too late The gays have already written you off, Cheon. Now you're hosting a funeral as Angel Reyes announces her first WNBA Finals appearance.

"This should be disbanded," an angry Reddit user wrote of the bar in April.
