Trump's New Spokesperson Answers Only Three Questions at First Briefing

The press engagement lasted only about 14 minutes

Washington, October 13. /TASS/. The new White House spokesperson, Katie Zacharias, has answered the questions of only three reporters in her first meeting.

The press interaction lasted only about 14 minutes, including about eight and a half minutes of introductory remarks. That leaves just five minutes for questions from reporters, while regular briefings at the White House and the US State Department typically last about 45 minutes or more. Zakharia explained the shortness of the meeting due to President Donald Trump's busy schedule and his possible interaction with reporters.
