Operation of 10 construction projects until the end of the year

The first and third phase of Shahid Amir Sub-General Mousavi highway (Dugaz) as a new ring road of Tehran in the form of the 233rd campaign of hope and honor, was put into operation on Saturday morning in the presence of the mayor of Tehran and other officials.

Referring to the opening of the third phase of the Dogaz highway, Mehdi Sadatagati, CEO of the Tehran Municipality Engineering and Civil Engineering Organization, said at the beginning of this program: The length of this project is about 2.5 kilometers, but the volume of its implementation is equivalent to the construction of 14 kilometers of a 12-meter-wide road, or in other words, 7 kilometers of a return highway with an emergency lane.

He added: "Dugaz highway is of special importance as the western ring road of Tehran, considering the development of the city and the constructions carried out in the 22nd district." Since 1403, the implementation of this highway was included in the agenda of the Technical and Civil Deputy of Tehran Municipality and it was defined in three phases; The first phase is from Shahid Lashkari highway to Shahid Fahmideh highway, the second phase is from Shahid Fahmideh highway to Shahid Hamdani highway and the third phase is from Shahid Hamdani highway to Shahid Kharazi highway.

Sedaghati continued: Considering the restrictions and oppositions on the way, first the implementation of the first phase was put on the agenda, and after that, the implementation of the third phase began. At this stage, by making civil agreements with the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, it became possible to implement the project and its implementation was completed in less than 10 months.

The CEO of Tehran Municipality Engineering and Civil Engineering Organization said: During the implementation of the third phase, more than 200,000 cubic meters of excavation was done, which indicates the high volume of construction operations of this project. Also, the executive agents, contractor, project consultant, Hexaf consulting engineers and engineering organization forces are appreciated for their efforts.

The beginning of the second phase of the Dugaz highway with the removal of the opponents

He added: The follow-ups for the implementation of the second phase of the Dugas highway are also continuing, and after resolving the property disputes on the route, the implementation of this section will begin.

Sedaghati continued: Among other important projects in this area, the bridge over the Shahid Fahimeh highway has a deck area of more than 20,000 square meters. The executive operation of this bridge has started and the activities are being carried out from the south side.

Director General of Engineering and Civil Engineering Organization of Tehran Municipality added: Dugaz highway is the 71st civil engineering project in Tehran that has reached the operational stage. In addition to this project, there are other construction projects on the agenda, including the completion of the western branch of Yadgar Imam highway in the west-north direction, which is expected to be completed within the next two to three weeks.

He continued: Also, the project of connecting the northern and southern woodcutter neighborhoods through the Sheikh Fazlullah Nouri highway, building a bridge at the intersection of Shahid Bagheri highway and 196th street to connect the eastern and western parts of Tehran Pars, and building a bridge on the Niayesh highway to eliminate traffic disturbances are among other construction projects in Tehran.

Sedaghati added: Projects are also being implemented in Yadgar Imam Highway and Ashrafi Esfahani Highway, which are part of the construction plans of the city management to improve the traffic situation of the capital. According to the planning, 10 other construction projects are expected to be put into operation by the end of the year. With the definition of new projects in Tehran's urban management, the process of implementing construction plans and completing urban infrastructure will continue.
