Birjand – During a visit to the family of a needy prisoner in Birjand, the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor of South Khorasan's central province announced aid and support services worth approximately 3 billion rials.

Birjand- The General and Revolutionary Prosecutor of South Khorasan province, during a visit to the family of one of the needy prisoners in Birjand, announced the provision of assistance and support services worth approximately three billion Rials.

According to Mehr reporter, Ahmad Ghasemi, Birjand General and Revolution Prosecutor along with Hossein Reza Khosravi Bejaim, CEO of Birjand Prisoners' Support Association, visited the families of needy prisoners on Thursday morning during the night raid.

During this visit, it was found out that the head of the family is in prison and his wife was also a prisoner until some time ago who was released from prison with the benefit of legal friendships.

In this regard, by examining the living conditions of this family, necessary measures were taken to provide part of the essential needs and improve their living conditions.

Donation of essential items and support services worth 3 billion Rials

On the sidelines of this visit, Ghasemi pointed out the need to identify the needy families of prisoners and carefully examine their living conditions and stated: supporting these families is one of the priorities that is followed by using the capacity of the prisoners' support association and the participation of benefactors.

He added: After identifying eligible families and examining their needs, essential life items will be prepared and provided to the families with the aim of reducing livelihood problems.

The General and Revolutionary Prosecutor of South Khorasan Province continued: During this night visit, a water heater, a heater, a desktop gas stove, a refrigerator, a TV set and a livelihood package were given to the family in question.

He pointed out: In addition to providing essential items, assistance was also provided for the improvement and installation of facilities and the provision of water, electricity and gas infrastructure for this family, which has a total value of 3 billion Rials.

Emphasizing the importance of continuous and targeted support for the families of needy prisoners, Ghasemi stated: In addition to reducing economic pressures, addressing the livelihood problems of these families plays an effective role in maintaining the family foundation, supporting vulnerable members, and preventing the occurrence of social harm.

Following this visit, Hosseinreza Khosravi Bejaim, CEO of Birjand Prisoners' Support Association, while appreciating the actions of the judiciary and prosecutor's office of the provincial capital in supporting the families of needy prisoners, emphasized the importance of interaction and cooperation between the judiciary, the Prisoners' Support Association and benefactors to meet the essential needs of these families.
