The Brewers had all the hits in the first two games. The Dodgers had leads in the first two games, but both times they squandered them. Milwaukee found a way to run in both games - a homer in the first and a run in the second. In Game 2, they played mostly small ball, but did get the occasional homer.

Hoping for a three game lead, the Brewers send Robert Gasser to the mound. This will be Gasser's second game of the postseason. In his debut, he went four innings and allowed three hits, including a solo homer. He only threw 56 pitches and hasn't played a full week.

Gasser has faced the Dodgers a few times this season, and he hasn't had a bad game, but Los Angeles has won both of his games. In May, Gasser pitched 4.1 innings, allowing four hits, four runs, four walks and striking out four. In August, he faced the Dodgers in Los Angeles and pitched 6.1 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits, one walk and seven strikeouts. He has allowed three homers to Dodgers hitters.

Los Angeles has yet to decide who will take the ball for them. They have plenty of options, and they landed a former Cy Young winner to take the ball for them in this game. Blake Snell will be looking to lead them to their first win of the series.

It was a good start for Snell in the National League Series, but the Dodgers lost the game. He went 3.2 innings and allowed three hits and one earned run. He also allowed five walks while striking out five. Command isn't usually an issue for Snell, but if he's going to give the Dodgers a chance today, he can't give the Brewers free bases. Snell has not faced the Brewers this season, but they are 11-64 against him in his career.
