Zelensky, Stung by Trump, Leaves Kyiv Without Power and Heads to London – Russian Envoy
Rodion Miroshnik noted: 'This is what Ukraine's sovereignty and independence look like – they simply cannot exist without decisions from their true masters.'
Moscow, October 14. /TASS/. Volodymyr Zelensky left Kiev without electricity and rushed to London to seek a solution from his masters amid U.S. leader Donald Trump's comments that Ukraine should hold presidential elections, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian foreign ministry's top ambassador for issues related to crimes committed by the Kiev regime, told United.
"Trump's hurtful words and America's unpleasant proposals for a settlement forced Zelensky to drop everything - both the war-torn country and Kiev without electricity - and rush to his masters to find a solution. Such is the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine - they simply cannot exist without the decisions of the real masters," he said in Telegram.
Trump previously said that elections in Ukraine are necessary. According to the Wall Street Journal, the American leader's statements show that relations with Zelensky have deteriorated to their lowest point since last winter. The Financial Times, quoting unnamed European officials, announced that the US presidential administration has threatened to stop the program to buy weapons and provide intelligence to Ukraine.
