Oppo, one of the leaders in the smartphone industry, has recently unveiled the latest generation of its mobile user interface called ColorOS 17. The user interface of ColorOS 17 introduces a new approach to visual experience with the introduction of Living Flow Design. This design is based on three main elements: Luminous Effect, Fluid Motion and Flexible Feedback. Oppo's ColorOS 17 user interface offers significant improvements in system performance by utilizing the Unified Rendering Architecture and the Laminar Flow Engine. This new architecture reduces rendering processing load by 30% and RAM consumption by 25% in key scenarios. Also, the layered streaming engine increases the stability of running apps by 55%, improves the loading speed of gallery thumbnails by 50%, and allows 25% more apps to stay active in the background. Oppo claims that ColorOS 17 retains more than 90% of its original fluidity even after six years of use and 90% of the memory capacity.
Advanced features of OPPO artificial intelligence in ColorOS 17
With ColorOS 17, Oppo expands its AI capabilities and introduces new system capabilities. These capabilities allow searching multiple sources, working with device content, and coordinating multiple steps to complete tasks.
With Agent Mode, AI Mind Pilot works directly with photos and files stored on the device and can find and organize scattered files, rename them based on content, and use the information to create travel plans or web pages.
AI Photo Agent enables natural language image editing and offers editing suggestions based on the scene and subject of the photo. The Style Match feature can also apply the color palette and mood of a reference photo to the user's image. Users can describe their desired edits or let the AI Photo Agent analyze the image and recommend appropriate changes.
AI Mind Space: This personal information center enables the storage of documents and video links, and artificial intelligence recognizes their content and transforms it into structured memories. The Memory Collections feature automatically categorizes and summarizes related memories.
AI Mind Suggest: Provides contextually relevant information and services throughout the day, such as morning summaries, travel reminders and boarding passes. It can also suggest suitable music when connecting headphones.
OSee: Brings together all of OPPO's visual AI capabilities in a single experience. By pressing the shutter button of the camera, it can identify objects and scenes and provide related services such as object recognition, knowledge search, nutrition analysis, high-quality scanning and translation.
