"At its heart, 'Laird' is about a man standing up to unchecked wealth and power," said Gene Wiseman, President of Originals for Paramount+. "There's something compelling about watching someone fight to protect what's most important, and with Kenneth Branagh leading the show, and an equally impressive creative team, we can't wait for audiences to root for the Laird of Castle Drummoch."

The series will air globally exclusively on Paramount+.
