The representative of the people of Ilam province in the Islamic Council, in a conversation with Mehr reporter, referring to the demands of the people of Malekshahi city, stated: In the road area, the issue of four-lane road from Malekshahi to Ilam is one of the important demands of the people of this region, and the necessary follow-ups have been done to fulfill it.

Referring to the measures taken in this regard, Sara Fallahi added: A meeting was held with the governor and Mr. Bazund, and the necessary follow-up with the Minister of Roads has also been done. Also, the budget line, which was too long before, has been separated so that the credits can be spent directly where it is needed.

Referring to the progress of the Malekshahi Hospital project, the representative of the people of Ilam in the Islamic Council stated: Fortunately, the hospital of this city was completed and now all the specialist doctors have settled in it and specialized services are provided. However, a series of additional works need to be done in the field of hospital equipment and body so that there is no need to send patients to Ilam anymore.

Fallahi noted: funds have been allocated to complete this project and the president of the University of Medical Sciences is also working on it, and we hope that with continuous follow-up, we will see the completion of hospital services in Malekshahi as soon as possible.

Referring to the field of water and water supply to the city, he said: Many efforts have been made for the water supply project in Malekshahi and this project has reached the desired results. In the field of agriculture, during the visit, nearly 120 billion Tomans were allocated from taxes to this sector.

The representative of the people of Ilam in the Islamic Council further stated, referring to the field of women's sports: one of the eight sports stadiums intended for women is located in Malekshahi and is currently in the tender stage. Also, the validity of the stadium in Mehr city has been followed up, because this city is the only city without a stadium in the province.

Appreciating the road administration's efforts in the field of regional roads, Falahi noted: I appreciate the road administration for the measures taken for Anjir road and other axes of Malekshahi, and we hope that with the continuation of these cooperations, we will see the resolution of the infrastructure problems of this city.

He emphasized: Pursuing the demands of the people of Malekshahi in the fields of road, hospital, water, agriculture and sports will continue and we hope to see the development of this city as much as possible with the approval of the necessary funds and the cooperation of the provincial and national officials.

Four major infrastructure projects pave the way for Malekshahi's development

Referring to the Ilam-Malkshahi-Mehran axis, Fereydoun Hemmati added: With the necessary funds, the contractor is implementing this project with strength, and with the continuation of the current process, we will witness the four-lane construction of this strategic road in the next few years.

The representative of the people of Ilam in the parliament stated about the Malekshahi water treatment plant: the credits of this project have increased several times, the project is almost completed, the water has been put into circulation and the people have benefited from it.

About the water capacity of Teng Malekshahi, Hemti noted: This area can create a big change in the city, and its studies are ongoing and implementation operations will begin next year.

Referring to Malekshahi Hospital, he added: This plan has been completed and specialized services are provided, but the completion of the hospital's equipment and body is on the agenda so that people do not need to be sent to the provincial capital for treatment.

The MP emphasized: Malekshahi has suffered from a lack of infrastructure for years, and its solution requires the serious determination of the provincial and national officials. We hope that with the continuation of the follow-ups, we will see the development of this city as much as possible.

Governor Malekshahi said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: Despite its size and population being smaller than many regions of Ilam province, this city has significant capacities in agriculture, animal husbandry, industry and tourism, which can turn it into one of the development poles in the west of the country.

Referring to the agricultural and animal husbandry capacities of the region, Abbas Sheikhi added: the presence of vast pastures, fertile lands and hardworking human resources have provided a suitable field for production; However, a large part of the products are exported from the region in raw form, and it is necessary to create the added value of these products in the city itself by developing the transformation and packaging industries.

Referring to the industrial area of this city, Governor Malekshahi stated: Malekshahi Industrial Area can become the real axis of production and employment in the region and attract investors by completing the infrastructure.

Referring to Malekshahi's tourism capacities, Sheikhi noted: Oak forests, beautiful mountains, boiling springs, and historical and cultural attractions have a high potential to attract tourists, and if the necessary infrastructure is provided, they can become a source of sustainable income for the people of the region.

Referring to Shohdai Malekshahi Hospital as one of the important achievements of the government, he added: This medical center has facilitated people's access to medical services by completing the equipment and deploying specialist doctors. However, the complete completion of its services is still on the agenda of the authorities.
