From now on, YouTube users can react with a few-second animated image instead of writing a comment under the videos; A feature that is supposed to change the mood of the comments section.

According to Ambassador Arjan, YouTube has started publishing the ability to send animated images or GIFs in the comment section of videos; A feature that is gradually available to users and has not yet been activated for everyone. This company announced less than a month ago that it will allow the use of GIFs in the comment section of videos and short videos. Some users have already seen the feature, but reports suggest that the rollout will be done in stages.

According to YouTube's announcement, users can choose their desired gifs from a library within the program and share them under videos. It is not yet clear whether it will be possible to upload personal animated images of users. Also, this feature is apparently not limited to paid subscribers and may be activated for more users over time. YouTube has not yet released exact details on when all users will have access to this feature.

In addition to the ability to send GIFs, YouTube also announced two other possibilities: creating exclusive lists of content using short commands and adding more features to the "Ask YouTube" feature to compare products. These three features are supposed to be released in the fall of 1405. With the expansion of the possibility of sending animated images, YouTube's comments section may also gradually move away from text messages and become more of a space for visual reactions.
