Stock Market Close: Tuesday, 21 Mehr 1405 / Total Index Nears 8.5 Million + Table
Tehran's stock market opened trading today with buy queues of 24 trillion rials forming at pre-opening, and in the first minutes about 90% of the market was in positive territory. The total index even crossed 8.5 million units, but gradually some demand faded and this level was lost.
Tehran Stock Exchange started trading today while 24 buyers queued up in pre-opening and in the first minutes, about 90% of the market was in the positive range. Even the total index crossed the border of 8,500,000 units, but gradually some of the demand subsided and this level was lost.
According to Ambassador Arjan, the stock market started today with a strong pre-opening signal, and about 24 buy queues were in front of sell orders. With the start of trading, the wave of demand was transferred to the market and in the first hour, almost 90% of the symbols were trading in the positive range. At this point, the buying queue was estimated to be around 22 hemats and the market did not have a significant selling queue.
Over time, some of the supplies increased and the intensity of the initial demand decreased; However, the overall market trend remained positive and at the end, 80% of the symbols were in the green.
One of the notable points of today's trading was the increase in demand for rial stocks. After the buyers welcomed the banking group, car brands also faced stronger demand. The negativity of the dollar in today's transactions can be one of the factors of changing the direction of part of the demand towards Rial groups; However, to evaluate the stability of this rotation, the behavior of traders in the coming days should also be examined.
The total index of the stock market increased by 126,477 points, equivalent to 1.52%, to 8,460,000 points. The equal weight index increased by 38,589 units, equivalent to 1.77%, and stood at the level of 2,220,000 units. The greater growth of the weighted index compared to the total index, along with the positive 80% of the market, shows that the demand is not limited to large symbols and that small and medium stocks have also benefited from the upward trend.
5.5 Entry of real money into the stock market
Investigating stock transactions, preemptive rights and equity funds shows that 74 billion shares were traded today and the value of the transactions reached 48,984 billion tomans. The per capita purchase in today's transactions was 103 million tomans and the per capita sale was 108 million tomans; Therefore, despite the superiority of the number of positive symbols, per capita sales were slightly higher than per capita purchases. Purchasing power is also recorded in table 1.05.
However, the cash flow was still positive and 5,458 billion tomans of money went into stocks, preemptive rights and mutual funds. The arrival of this volume of liquidity, along with the growth of indicators and the positive nature of the majority of the market, indicates the continued presence of buyers.
In general, the stock market started today with a heavy buying queue, and despite the relative increase in supplies, continued its upward trend. The most important features of today's transactions were the crossing of the total index for a few minutes over the 8 million and 500 thousand units, the strengthening of the demand in the banking and automobile groups and the entry of 5 thousand 458 billion tomans of money. However, the fact that sales per capita are higher than purchases shows that, along with strong demand, supply is still present in the market.
