The Martyr Mourned by Evin Prisoners' Families

An interview with Ms. Nasimeh Hajati, a mother of the so-called 'seventies generation' who, since her husband's martyrdom, proudly bears sole responsibility for raising their four children.

Eastern Jihad and Resistance Service - She is a zealous woman, one of the people of the resistance, who endures all the hardships on this steep and uphill road, because she promised her husband to last and bring the memories of this 20-year life together in the path of the revolution and the system to fruition. Like me, you should see photos of their family trips and outings to know what kind of pure and romantic joys the cursed enemy's punctuation has taken from this dear family. If it wasn't for the meanness of the American-Zionist enemy and the good dancing of a handful of patriots, the sound of laughter and joy could be heard from this house forever, but now its doors and walls are full of photos of a father whose masculine stature is no longer supposed to be a safe hug for two daughters and two sons who had pinned their hopes on this pure father-son relationship...

Mrs. Hajti, introduce your wife to us.

My husband, Shahid Hassan Salehi, was born on 20 Bahman 1358. He loved his birthday very much. After graduating in the field of correction and education, he worked in the security protection department of Evin. He was so moral and sincere that after his martyrdom, even some prisoners and their families contacted us and came to our house to guard the martyr and expressed their sadness. Some people said in disbelief: "Tell God that the news of his martyrdom is not true!"

Tell us about your courtship and marriage.

Hassan Agha was my father's cousin. We were related to each other, but it was not like we had seen each other before courtship. He had seen me on the way to school on his mother's advice. Then they came to propose and we got married on July 23, 2004. On November 27 of the same year, we were at home and in our own lives.

When and where were they martyred?

Let me tell you that we always called each other "dear" at home. He was martyred at his workplace on July 2, 1404, that is, on the last day of the 12-day war. You must have heard in the news that Evin was targeted with grenades. His body was almost healthy and he was injured more than the back of his head. When he testified, he had three rings in his hand, but only one of them was brought to me; The other two were completely burnt.

How was his behavior at home? Is it true that they say that martyrs live like martyrs?

I always say that my wife was heavenly even without martyrdom. Sometimes when I talk to God, I say, my dear, apart from martyrdom, he deserved heaven. God, believe me, as long as I turn 20 years old in this life, I will not find anything until I finally find an annoyance or a harsh encounter or discomfort and this becomes an excuse to be less selfish and say that now he also had this bad manners. He was so pure and honest and he always prioritized the satisfaction of his family, especially me, that I couldn't help but be selfish. There was almost no place in Iran that we did not go together; Whether for fun or pilgrimage.

He bought the house and did all the administrative work and the children's school by himself. He was so careful that I don't have any worries outside the house despite the children, that after his testimony, wherever I go, I feel disgusted. It was very difficult for me and the children in this one year. Despite the fact that the spirit of our children is steel and we all believe that God will make a deal with the martyr.

Did you ever think that they would be martyred?

My children and I always gave the possibility of his martyrdom. Even the children say that our father deserved the best place, but the truth is that we did not expect him to pass away so soon. I myself always thought that martyrdom would come to him at the age of 70 or 80; It was too soon... I always thought we would see our grandchildren in this life. I have said many times that if one day God told me that I will give you the whole world plus heaven, and in return, give me your beloved, I would choose Hassan; my dear His testimony was really a big shock for all of us.

As long as he was dear, we never had the opportunity to visit Mr. Martyr of Iran. Only once, one of the girls had gone with the school and told us about this meeting with such enthusiasm that we were all excited. After the martyrdom of my wife, we had the opportunity to be present at the famous speech of Hazrat Agha, where he stood and spoke for eight minutes and forty seconds. After that meeting, we all revived and really became energy bombs.

They called me on the first of the holy month of Ramadan, and we decided to have a private family meeting with them for the following week. We had a lot of fun and were counting the moments, but this meeting was never possible and they played the song on Saturday and I dare say they left a bigger and deeper pain than the pain of my wife's martyrdom in our hearts. It was as if the world had collapsed on us.

The longing for this meeting also remained in my heart and did not let go of me until one night I saw Hazrat Agha in his dream. They gave me their turban and I said, sir, this is for my children, give me something. The men said that there is nothing with me now, and then they said to the man who was next to them: So-and-so, give them my father's ring!

When I woke up, I couldn't bring myself to call someone and tell them about my dream. Until one day, a man who was a ring maker called and said that he will come to our house tomorrow with a delegation. As soon as they introduced themselves, I remembered my dream; Because I remembered their names and the address of Hazrat Agha to them in my dream.

I wanted to explain my dream, but the gentleman told me to wait for tomorrow when I came in person. It is strange that when they arrived, they themselves said that I also had a dream last night, but you should explain it first. Then they said that Hazrat Agha told them in a dream to bring the ring box and they took their father's ring and ordered to take it to the wife of Martyr Salehi tomorrow. My best and most valuable possession in this world is this ring. All my happiness is that His Holiness has an opinion on the families of the martyrs.
