Golmohammadi Nears Appointment as Iran U-23 Coach; Federation Officials Travel to Iraq to Recruit Yahya
Two senior Football Federation officials are heading to Iraq for final negotiations and to sign a contract with Yahya Golmohammadi.
According to "Varzesh Se", the officials of the football federation made efforts for the presence of the Iranian Dohok head coach Yahya Golmohammadi at the head of the technical staff of Iran's hopefuls and have reached an agreement with this experienced head coach.
Meanwhile, before signing the contract with the Iranian Federation to become the head coach of the Omid team, Golmohammadi must terminate his contract with the Iraqi Dohok team and officially leave.
Golmohammadi is currently in Dohok's training and is progressing his work. Therefore, two senior officials of the Football Federation have decided to go to Iraq to finalize Golmohammadi's presence on the Omidah bench.
Based on this, Mohammad Rahman Salari, a member of the Board of Directors, and Ali Targholizadeh, the Technical and Development Director of the Football Federation, along with Golmohammadi's program manager, will go to Iraq in the next day or two to hold final talks and reach an agreement.
Apparently, preliminary agreements have been made to sign a three-year contract with Golmohammadi as the head coach of the Omid team, and if there are no special issues, we will soon see the termination of Yahya's contract with Dohok and his presence in the Iran under-23 team.
