If We Prevailed in the War, It Was Thanks to the Mobilization of All Social Groups / Our Most Important Duty Is Solving the People's Problems

The President said mosques can help the government by identifying the needy and mobilizing public participation, since people judge officials by their performance more than by their words.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, Masoud Bizikian said at the national event "Healthy, People-Friendly and Mosque-Oriented Community" by honoring the memory of the martyred leader, commanders, scientists, students and all those who sacrificed their lives for the honor and pride of the country, he said: I don't want to speak ceremonially, but I want to share with you what I really believe in and what is in my heart.

He added: After the victory of the revolution, we believed that our way, religion and beliefs were superior; But if we have such a belief, we must also be the best in practice. The meaning of this superiority is to serve people more and to be able to solve their problems. We cannot claim that our way and beliefs are right, but be unable to serve the people.

Referring to the efforts of the revolutionary generation to study, acquire knowledge and participate in various fields of service, the president said: All of us have tried to serve the people at different times, from working and serving in the front to caring for patients and working in other fields. But now we are facing a sensitive and complicated stage.

The doctor continued: Today's war is not only a military war and confrontation with missiles and weapons; Besides that, we are also facing difficult economic conditions, which makes solving people's problems a more serious responsibility. If we cannot find solutions for people's problems, we are responsible and cannot answer God and the martyrs.

Emphasizing that the main goal of working in the field of medicine was to serve the people, he said: My goal was not just to become a doctor, but I wanted to serve the people and show that people who believe in the Islamic religion and beliefs must be honest, honest, healthy, kind and helpful; People who think about people, not their personal interests, their surroundings and relatives.

Stating that the first field of struggle is confronting individual egos, the President added: Today we face a more difficult test. Despite the knowledge, awareness and experience we have, we should not allow people to continue to face unsolved problems.

Pointing to the role of social factors in people's health, the doctor said: Health is not limited to healthcare. Poor people, residents of marginal areas, the elderly, heads of households and orphans are more vulnerable than others and should be considered in terms of medical, social and other aspects of life.

Emphasizing the necessity of identifying and supporting these groups, he said: We have a valuable structure called the mosque, which can provide a basis for identifying people in need, talking with people and addressing their problems. The government alone cannot fulfill all these responsibilities in an optimal way and we must use the capacities of the people.

Referring to the existence of about 80,000 mosques in the country, the president noted: If we believe that we have to solve people's problems, we will find a way. Academics, doctors and other experts can play a role in this direction according to their knowledge and ability; But if we only think about our office, income, house, position and position, we will find a way for personal gain, not to solve people's problems.

Doctors added: If we think about the people, we will gain their trust and companionship, and position and responsibility will be formed after this trust. But if we are not with the people, we will lose what we have. Today we have to enter the field to solve people's problems by relying on our knowledge, experience and facilities.

Recalling the sacrifice of the people's forces during the war, he said: "If we were able to stand in the war, it was because of the presence of the Basij people who abandoned their shops, studies, farms and lives and came to the field to defend the country without any expectations." Many of them sacrificed their lives and those of us who are left must continue their path; Not to seek name, fame and position.

The president emphasized: Today people have problems and we are responsible for them. People who have knowledge, skills, facilities, credibility and connections should use these capacities to untangle people's lives. If we stand by the people with honesty and sincerity, no power can easily stand against this nation.

Stating that people understand the behavior of the officials better than their words, the doctor said: Anyone may claim to be a servant, but what determines his honesty or dishonesty is his performance. True service should be done without regrets and with benevolent intentions; Not that people expect gratitude and reward for receiving money and doing their duty.

He invited those present to take practical part in solving people's problems and clarified: instead of repeating words and claims, everyone should take a step forward according to their ability. We should not exclude anyone from cooperation and participation in serving the people. All people can play a role in this path according to their ability and understanding.

Emphasizing the position of mosques in strengthening social solidarity, the president said: a mosque is a place to sit with people, talk with them, companionship and sympathy; Not just a place to deal with medical issues. If we can use this capacity to identify people's needs and resolve people's problems, we will overcome difficulties with dignity and pride with each other's help.

The doctor continued: We are ready to serve the people and we are ready to spend our lives on this path. This is the responsibility that martyrs, God and all those who sacrificed their lives for the glory of Islam expect from us.

He warned about the consequences of people distancing themselves from the authorities and said: If we fail this test and people turn away from us, it will not be possible to rebuild public trust simply in the name of Islam. Being a Muslim should be shown in honesty, health, good morals, kindness, humanity and untangling the problems of others; Not in pretending, unnecessary strictness and creating problems for people.

While appreciating the organizers of this event, including Hojjatul Islam Taeb, commanders and others present, the president emphasized the necessity of the active and unassuming presence of specialist forces alongside the people and said: Today more than ever, we need to be present in the field. People see our performance and distinguish between our speech and behavior.

In the end, the doctor pointed out: In every city, village, neighborhood and mosque, the ground for starting popular activities should be provided. Women can play a role in supporting women and men in supporting other people. This responsibility is not limited to treatment; We have to think for all people's problems, find a way and start working to solve them.
