An Oklahoma copper theft suspect stunned a deputy by diving head first through a closed window, but overlooked one detail that helped deputies track him down.
The encounter occurred on Oct. 1 when Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a burglary in progress at a vacant home on Sunset Lane, according to the agency's body camera footage.
Inside, a deputy found Raven Lee Wooten, 24, of Nicoma Park, who had allegedly stolen copper wire from a dishwasher, authorities said.

Video shared by the sheriff's office captures the deputy confronting Wooten and repeatedly ordering him to take his hands out of his pockets, turn around and kneel.
Deputy said: You are not listening. "Go back and kneel. You'll get shot."
Wooten instead ran around the kitchen and poked his head through the closed living room window, prompting the startled deputy warden to say.
"He just got out of the window. He said Roshan Stepa, the deputy of the radio.

Wooten initially fled, but deputies said he left his backpack with his driver's license in it and helped them track him down.
The sheriff had his own investigation into this dramatic escape.
"One suspect took 'a break for it' a little too literally!" The agency wrote alongside the video that the man had "lost his presence as a Hollywood stuntman."
Viewers had plenty to say about the deputy's stunned reaction and the clue the suspect left behind.

Another added: "The deputy's reaction... complete disbelief."
A third wrote: "The surprise and frustration of unlocking the front door = priceless."
