American negotiators still plan to visit Moscow, but must first clarify Kyiv's position, a source said.

According to this source, there are difficulties in understanding Kyiv's position.

Moscow, October 12. /TASS/. US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have not abandoned plans to visit Moscow, but will visit only after gaining a clear understanding of Kiev's position, a source told TASS.

"The intention is still there, but there are problems in understanding Kiev's position. They will come, but only after the position is clarified," the source said.

"All options are on the table," the source said when asked if the meeting would still take place in the next two weeks.

Talks involving the United States, Ukraine, the E3 countries (UK, France and Germany), the European Commission and NATO were held on October 9 in Miami. On the morning of October 10, reports emerged that the talks had ended prematurely and that there would be no second day of talks. The Axios news website, citing sources, reported that Wittkoff and Kushner told Ukrainian officials at the meeting that if Ukraine refused to give concessions, Washington could limit Kiev's access to American information.
