Mayor: Surface Water Drainage Is Among Gonbad-e Kavus's Challenges

The mayor of Gonbad-e Kavus, stressing the need for special attention from provincial and national managers to address or reduce the city's challenges, said: Dredging urban rivers, surface water drainage, unfinished projects, the Imam Ali (AS) Square overpass, worn-out service and construction machinery, a shortage of fire trucks, and the failure to allocate traffic fine revenues are among the municipality's major problems.

Emphasizing the need for the special attention of provincial and national managers to solve or reduce the challenges of this city, Mayor Gonbadkavos said: dredging of urban rivers, disposal of surface water, half-finished projects, overpass of Imam Ali Square, wear and tear of service and construction machinery, lack of fire engines and lack of allocation of traffic offenses are among the big problems of this municipality.
