Standard 50-Meter Pool to Be Built in Hamadan

Hamadan – Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stressing the importance of developing sports infrastructure in Hamadan Province, announced plans to build a 50-meter pool to international standards in this city.

According to Ambassador Arjan Hamidreza Haji Babaei, during a visit to the training of swimming and diving athletes in Hamedan province, he said: With the follow-ups carried out by the provincial managers, the dedicated sports complex for swimming has been activated again, and currently more than 300 athletes and champions benefit from its facilities daily, which is an effective step in the development of championship sports.

Referring to the history of sports talent search projects, he mentioned: "Saba" project was launched in 2013 during the Ministry of Education and Culture, and today it is a matter of pride that many of its beneficiaries have achieved the status of national champions.

The representative of the people of Hamedan and Faminin in the Islamic Council, emphasizing the serious need of Hamedan province for specialized swimming infrastructure, stated: the construction of a 50-meter swimming pool with international standards is one of the main demands and needs of the province's sports, and in this regard, the necessary follow-ups are underway to provide suitable land, and we hope that its implementation will begin in the near future.

Haji Babaei, in another part of his speech, appreciated the efforts of the Director General of Sports and Youth of Hamedan Province and other managers active in this field, and said: We will support the managers who are working with jihad spirit and seriousness in the development of the province with all our strength.
