Lufthansa Airlines has ordered its planes to carry extra fuel to the airport following the limited supply of fuel at Frankfurt Airport, Germany.
According to Ambassador Arjan, the supply of fuel at Germany's largest airport has been limited due to the reduction of capacity in a pipeline, and Lufthansa has increased the refueling of its planes before flying to Frankfurt as a precautionary measure.
In this connection, the operator of the Frankfurt airport known as "Fraport" announced that routine maintenance of this pipeline is underway and due to alternative supply routes and abundant storage, it does not expect disruption to operations.
Lufthansa has also announced that there is currently no possibility of canceling its flights to Frankfurt.
Lufthansa pilots on some routes have been ordered to fly with extra fuel to reduce the need for refueling at Frankfurt airport, Bild newspaper reported.
