594 Smugglers, Retailers, and Public Drug Users Arrested in Province

Kermanshah Police Chief said 594 drug-related offenders were arrested and collected across the province. Of these, 390 were public drug users, 180 were retail dealers, and 24 were smugglers.

Referring to the arrest and collection of 594 drug criminals, Kermanshah police commander said: 390 of these people were drug addicts, 180 were retailers, and 24 were traffickers.

According to the reporter of Arjan's ambassador in Kermanshah province, Sardar Mehdi Hajian stated: The plan to clean up drug-contaminated areas for 5 days has been implemented in 19 pre-identified neighborhoods of Kermanshah province.

He continued: In this plan, which was implemented with the presence of anti-narcotics police officers of the province, one ton, 130 kilos and 273 grams of various drugs were discovered.

Hajian reminded: Also, 87 thousand and 37 types of illegal narcotic pills were discovered during the inspections conducted in the hideout of drug criminals.

He called the discovery of 4 combat and hunting weapons among other measures taken by the anti-narcotics police officers of Kermanshah province in the 5-day plan to clean up contaminated areas.

At the end, Hajian pointed to the citizens' satisfaction with the implementation of such plans and said: "The police will not allow drug criminals to create an atmosphere of insecurity in the province with their actions."
