Yazd - Hossein Masarrat, a Yazdi writer and historian, referring to the manuscript treasury in the Vaziri Library of Yazd, introduced the most precious manuscript of Hafez's Divan in Iran.
In an interview with the reporter of Iran's Ambassador Arjan in Yazd, Hossein Masrat, referring to the age and value of the Waziri Library in Yazd, as well as the commemoration of Hafez Day, said: The Waziri Library in Yazd is one of the ancient libraries of Iran, which has nearly six thousand manuscripts, and some of them are exquisite and unique. One of these versions is Hafez Shirazi's Divan, which has good handwriting and valuable illustrations due to the inclusion of several miniature plates.
He introduced the most exquisite copy of Diwan Hafez in this library and said: Among the many manuscripts of the Yazd Ministerial Library, there are many exquisite, distinguished, unique and artistic copies, the flagship of which is the Diwan Ghazalsarai of Iran, Shamsuddin Mohammad Hafez Shirazi with fourteen miniature plates (painting), which is considered one of the masterpieces of the Safavid era. Its delay reaches 400 years and it is the pride of this library among Iranian libraries. There are a total of 14 copies of Hafez Shirazi's divan in this treasure, which is the most exquisite of all.
Referring to the technical specifications of this book, Mesrat said: Diwan Hafez Shirazi, edition number 2699, script: Nastaliq, paper: Esfahani Aharmehera, 224 leaves, 14 lines, cut: Raqa'i, 5.7 x 14 cm, registration number (public) 11247, donated by Mohammad Herati Yazdi, Persian poetry, 8th century.
Mesrat said about the beginning and completion of this version: the beginning of its introduction is "innumerable praise and infinite praise and thanks...", the beginning of the text begins with "Ela ya Iha al-Saqi Aderkasa wa Navelha / that love made it easy first, but problems fell" and the ending of its ending is "so that the worm becomes too much of our veins and pi / I beg you not to take a joe of Khatam".
He said about the artistic characteristics of this edition: the beginning of the introduction has gold, shangraf, lapis lazuli, white, black, etc., with poetry and writing on the first and second pages, along with overlapping tranges. The beginning of the text of Zarafshan Ghbari with a border decorated with flowers and bushes of gold, shangraf, azure, rust, black, yellow and white. On the fifth page, between the lines, you can see the gilding of the square shape of the text, in such a way that the rectangles created on both sides of the final verse are decorated with flowers and bushes.
Masrat added: All the pages of the book have a table of tahrirdar gold and lapis lazuli, and a total of fourteen very distinguished and delicate miniature plates, including the shapes of trees and animals, natural landscapes, and gatherings of the tarb and the hunting ground, which are displayed in accordance with the theme of the sonnets inside the edition. At the beginning of the sonnets, there is a wide religious border decorated with corresponding half-tones.
He said about the cover of this edition: The cover is oiled cardboard with colorful flowers and bushes, and the border is with flowers and bushes, and the inside of the bergamot, the border, and the lakhkis have golden flowers in the form of gold chains and slime. The inside is oil with flowers and bushes and a colorful cypress and the border is decorated with flowers and bushes with a golden border 23 x 14.
Paintings by Isfahani painters
Pointing out that the majalis (tablets) do not have numbers or signatures, Mesrat said: According to the director of the Vaziri Library in Yazd, who also quotes manuscript experts, the copy belongs to the Safavid era, and the illustrations are the work of Isfahan painters (Danshours, p. 7). He added: "This immensely exquisite literary and artistic work is considered one of the most beautiful and exquisite manuscripts available from Diwan Hafez in the libraries and document centers of the country."
He further referred to the opinion of Manouchehr Arasteh, cataloger of the Waziri Library, and said: Arasteh listed below the list of the mentioned book: all the pages have rabbets. Its miniatures have remained the same in terms of color and composition over the years. At the beginning of the version, before the introduction and the main text, two pages of poetry are written in italics and cursive. According to the characteristics of the Safavid and Isfahan schools, this version had an artistic value in its time. In Safavid motifs, the tendency to create amazing elegance and complexity in decorations can be seen; This is clear from the miniatures used in this version, as well as the use of arrays and decorations whose predominant color is gold and lapis lazuli, that the existing version is a unique version and has a high sophistication, and copyists consider it among the original versions.
Masrat said: Due to its great beauty, this divan has been exposed to the public for many years in the treasure (museum) of the Ministerial Library of Yazd, and unfortunately, it is feared that it will be seriously damaged due to being exposed to light and open air.

The long story "In preparation for the unlived life" is a narrative of the interconnected lives of hope, dream, time and desire, each of which is intertwined with love, family and the past. Instead of a clear answer, the novel presents the gap between the lived life and the desired life; Love is the promise of liberation, but its social face is not clear, the relationship is never completely two-person, and the "third person" such as the family and the past is always present. "Hasn't lived" is not the past; It is a future whose relational and temporal conditions for its realization have not yet been provided.
