Marking of 50 km of Shahmirzad–Chashm–Khatirkuh Road Ahead of Rainy Season

Mehdishahr – The head of the Safety Department of the Semnan Provincial Roads Maintenance Directorate announced the implementation of 50 km of road line marking on the Shahmirzad–Chashm–Khatirkuh road, aimed at improving traffic safety and preparing for the rainy season.

According to Mehr reporter, Abolfazl Nazari, while visiting the roads of Mahdishahr district on Tuesday morning, referring to the geographical conditions of this axis, said: Shahmirzad-Chashem-Khatirkoh axis is one of the axes that needs special attention in the field of road safety and maintenance due to its mountainous location and special weather conditions, especially the possibility of snow and ice in the winter season.

He added: The line drawing operation of this 50 km long axis is underway and it is expected that this operation will be completed in the coming days.

The head of the Safety Department of the General Directorate of Roads and Road Transport of Semnan province emphasized the role of road markings in the safety of mountain roads and stated: appropriate road markings help to guide drivers, recognize the direction of movement and increase the visibility of road users, and it is more important in adverse weather conditions, rain and reduced visibility.

Nazari noted: The implementation of safety measures before the start of the cold and rainy season with the aim of improving traffic conditions, increasing the safety of road users and reducing possible risks in the transportation axes of Semnan province is on the agenda.
