Golgohar's multi-stage journey for the Esteghlal game

Golgohar team members started the long journey back to Tehran this morning to prepare for the match against Esteghlal.

According to Sport Seh, the Golgohar convoy left Muscat this morning for Baghdad, and after traveling by land to Najaf, it will leave for Tehran from the city's airport. Mehdi Rahmati's students, who were forced to stay in Oman due to the lack of a flight the previous day, now have to go through another multi-stage journey.

On Wednesday night, Golgohar faced Bahrain's Al Muharraq in their second match in the Asian Champions League 2 and lost 2-0. This result was achieved in a situation where the representative of Iran was looking for a point in his second Asian game after a draw against Al Jazeera of the Emirates, but in the end he left the field empty-handed.

Due to the fact that it was not possible to fly the previous day, the Golgeharis stayed in Muscat one day after the game and held their practice the previous day in the same city and left this country this morning after staying in Oman for five days.

Golgohar's intense schedule will continue with his return to Iran and this team will face Esteghlal on Monday in Tehran. The one-day postponement of this match has given Rahmati and his students more time to prepare, but the long journey and the resulting fatigue will still be one of Golgohar's most important challenges before this match.
