After the introduction of the iPhone Duo in September, the pre-sale of this phone officially started yesterday and it didn't take long for the orderable inventory to run out. Just a few minutes after the start of the pre-sale, the delivery dates were postponed from October 23 to November, and shortly after, the estimated time of delivery of the devices reached January 25, 2027 (Bahman 5).

In a statement to the Financial Times, Apple said demand for the iPhone Duo has been "nothing short of phenomenal." The company also said: "We are working hard to get this revolutionary new product to our customers as quickly as possible."

It is now no longer possible to order the iPhone Duo for delivery in 2026, and customers who purchase the phone now will have to wait until early 2027. Before the pre-sale began, there were rumors that the iPhone Duo might be limited due to production issues.

In previous releases of the iPhone, which were accompanied by limited inventory, Apple was sometimes able to deliver the devices to customers earlier than expected. Therefore, the company may be able to deliver pending orders to waiting customers sooner. Of course, there are no guarantees in this regard at the moment.

Apple has not yet announced whether iPhone Duo stock will be available for in-store purchase on October 23. However, if this is possible, we may see long lines in front of Apple retail stores for the first time in years.

Apple's website indicates that some of these phones may be available for in-store delivery starting next week; Because on this website, customers are asked to check the site again on October 24 to know about the inventory.

The price of the base version of the iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 and reaches $3,199 in the version equipped with 2 TB of internal memory. The first orders will be delivered to customers on November 1.
