Police commander of Shiraz said: A 26-year-old youth who killed his father with an iron rod was arrested by the police officers of "30 Roknabad" police station.

According to Ambassador Arjan's report from ILNA, Colonel Mohammad Rostami said: Last night on October 24, during the notification to the police emergency center 110 based on the occurrence of a case of murder in Bajgah village of Shiraz city and the escape of the murderer, the issue was immediately put on the agenda of the police officers.

He continued: In the investigations, it was found that a 26-year-old man killed his 65-year-old father with an iron rod and immediately ran away from the place.

The Shiraz police commander continued: immediately, the arresting plan was implemented by the officers, and finally, they managed to identify and arrest the murderer in less than an hour with police tricks.

Col. Rostami stated that the accused was handed over to the judicial authorities after the filing of the case, and said: "The cause of this heartbreaking incident was family problems, and it is necessary that dear citizens should always raise the threshold of their patience and resolve their problems by referring to active and licensed counseling centers so that we do not witness such heartbreaking incidents."
