CIS defense ministers' meeting stresses importance of cooperation for stability

Belusov announced the signing of decisions aimed at improving the combat power of the national armed forces. He clarified: The work program of the Council of Defense Ministers for 2027 has been approved.

At the end of the council meeting, Russia's defense chief described the overall atmosphere as "commercial and constructive." He noted that a set of issues related to further improvement in combat capabilities were discussed, and the results and priorities of joint military cooperation - aimed at strengthening the security of Eurasia and the region in the current international situation - were analyzed. In addition, the Council approved the results and proposals for the development of joint projects in the field of military training and military sports, as well as for the planning and organization of activities in the military field.

At the end of the meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Minister of Defense thanked all the participants for their constructive cooperation.
